Campaigns
Our curriculum-linked campaigns are the most popular feature of the Pod. They get the whole school working together and inspired to take action. They can also be led by students, which is an essential criterion for an Eco-School Award.
We have lots of resources to make taking part easy, fun, impactful and rewarding.
The Hidden Treasure Hunt 2026
Take action against electrical waste – you could win prizes for your school!
Join in the Hidden Treasure Hunt: a fun, free, nationwide campaign for Pod schools – and be in with a chance of winning a share of £20,000 in Currys' vouchers for Microsoft tech.
How does it work?
Pupils and families hunt out old, unwanted tech or small electricals at home, recycle them at Currys or a local Recycle Your Electricals drop-off point, then register their recycling to earn Planet Care Points for their school and have a chance of winning prizes in the termly draws.
Why take part?
- Make a real environmental difference – electrical waste is the world’s fastest-growing waste stream, and responsible recycling really matters.
- Simple for all schools – it’s easy to get started straightaway, and the campaign can be led by teachers, pupils, the Eco Club or the PTA.
- Real-world learning – supports STEM, materials science and citizenship learning.
- Rewards that motivate – termly prize draws for pupils and schools, plus a national leaderboard finale.
- Safe and trusted – any tech you recycle at Currys will be safely data-wiped to UK Government standards, and we have advice to help you back up and remove your personal data before you recycle.
Plus - we’ve got all the resources you need to make your campaign a success – including a limited number of printed supporting materials, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
